Tanisha Dumas

Tanisha Dumas is a proud Birrbay Galbaan (Biripi Woman) who grew up on Biripi Country in Taree. She currently lives and works within the Warrimay(Worimi) community in Forster as a NILS Officer where she is able to assist individuals and families on low incomes to access safe, fair and affordable credit.

Tanisha is passionate about strengthening her cultural connections through traditional practices such as Weaving, Dance and Language. This passion is carried into her valuable work as a First Feet Cultural Appreciation workshop facilitator.

Tanisha is dedicated to supporting her family and the broader community with an ultimate goal of working alongside people to ensure positive outcomes for mental health & wellbeing, therefore creating a safe, strong and thriving community for future generations to grow in.
