First Feet Cultural Awareness

The Forster Neighbourhood Centre coordinates the First Feet Cultural Awareness training as a community service to increase access by the broader community to understanding and awareness of Aboriginal culture.

Local Cultural Awareness training (First Feet/Yarning Circle facilitated by Lee Townsend) can be arranged to meet your needs. The training package includes:

  • Tailored course design and content to meet your specific needs and audience
  • 2 x 5 hour professional development sessions (usually one afternoon followed by one morning however can work around your schedule)
  • Course Coordinator to work with your team on arrangements and any special requirements

The tailored Cultural Awareness Training Package based on 10 hours delivery starts at $2000 (plus GST) for up to 10 participants, we charge $160/additional participant after that. The cost does not include venue and catering. Please note: we can work with you on a shorter package if needed depending on your organisation’s goal for the professional development activity.
