Great Lakes Womens Shelter is a safe haven for women and children that may be experiencing, or have experienced homelessness or domestic/family violence in the Forster-Tuncurry (Great Lakes) region of NSW. Their staff work closely with these families and provide them access to important services to empower them to regain their independence, such as legal, housing, financial, family support, counselling and identifying any other needs during their stay.
GLWS currently provides supported accommodation to 5 families for up to 3 months.
