Forster Neighbourhood Centre has several affiliations with our local Clubs to be able to provide some much-needed Emergency Relief to our community members.
Club Forster
- Club Forster (NSW Club Grants) sponsors FNC to provide:
- Basic food pantry items (when available)
- Personal hygiene items including toiletries, sanitary items and men’s toiletry packs
- Baby items such as disposable nappies and clothes
- Limited supply of children’s clothes
- Blankets and sleeping bags (when available)
Eastern Tiger Restaurant, Forster Bowling Club
The Eastern Tiger Restaurant donates their excess buffet food once per week.
Our volunteers sort, label and freeze the food into takeaway containers straight from the restaurant. We can heat the food for those that do not have access to cooking facilities.
Butterfingers Bakery, Tuncurry
Butterfingers Bakery in Tuncurry donate fresh bread and bakery items once a week to help supplement the Emergency Relief parcels
Note: we try and keep all our items stocked, however it depends on the demand and the availability at the time.
Just come into Centre at 3 Lake Street, Forster during opening hours and speak with our friendly workers.
